Board Members

SYBA is looking for 5 to 10 individuals who are interested in becoming board members of SYBA. You will work together in running the association during the season and off season. If you have the time and are interested please contact Mike Franklin.

2021-2022 Season is on!

Physical Copy sign ups for the 2021-2022 Youth Basketball Season are available at Pummill's Sporting Goods. 2400 W. 16th Street. Deadline to sign up will be September 27th. There is a delay with the online registration. That will be available Monday September 6th. We will share the link for that when it comes available. Also if you sponsored or coached in the past we will be reaching out to see if you still have any interest this year. New sponsors and coaches are more than welcome as well. Just reach out on social media or by email: franklinm@sedalia200.org.

League Details

The league will run from November 6th through December 18th. 

All games will be played on Saturdays at Smith-Cotton High School.

Once all sign ups are in. We will contact sponsors and coaches.

Practices will begin October 18th.

Sedalia Youth Basketball Association

The mission of the SYBA is to grow the game of basketball in the Sedalia community and surrounding area. It is designed to grow the game at the youth levels through  positive skill development coupled with high character development for boys and girls. Its mission a s a non profit is to organize rec leagues and competitive teams and utilize fund raising along with events to help sponsor and grow the game of basketball.

Player Evaluations

Player evaluations will take place Saturday October 9th at Smith-Cotton High School. This will help ensure teams are split up evenly. 

Evaluation times:

1-1:30pm: 1st-2nd grade evaluations.

1:45-2:15pm: 3rd-4th grade evaluations.

2:30-3pm: 5th-6th grade evaluations.
